ISTA Community News

"International School of Temple Arts is a mystery school and doesn’t have a model or structure like other organisations and corporations. We don’t have a leader. We have a series of circles that move together in sovereignty and synergy.

I would like to clarify, in response to some comments, that Baba Dez is the founder of ISTA and is a lead faculty member. He is not the boss, leader, policy maker or official spokesperson. None of these roles exist in our organism. Nor is he part of the current governance circle. He is a member of the lead circle (9 women and 4 men) and the wisdom circle, which is made up of those who have been through the inner fire of Governance. Governance does not work like a top down model or corporate structure, but rather as an extension of the listening of the organism and the ISTA field. ISTA is an alive being, emerging and evolving day by day. We feel, we experience, we listen, we learn, we evolve, we love.

ISTA is open to feedback where love is in the centre but not to respond to calls of war. A cornerstone of the ISTA culture is feedback, reflections and shadow integration. For feedback involving unresolved issues, we first encourage people to have direct conversations with those involved in the unresolved issue. If the issue is unable to be resolved in that way, or the person feels unable to directly communicate to the person, we are contactable through our website.

Communications are received within the model of listening, feeling and seeking understanding of both sides, radical love and self responsibility with an intention to evolve and move towards resolution and transformation.

Feedback can be emailed to us through our website in a message with your name; email address; date, location and lead on the training relating to the feedback. And your experience.

ISTA won’t be relating to feedback outside these parameters and does not engage with or support victim/perpetrator/rescuer triangles. We are not a court or justice system. Any individual who has feedback and wants it addressed outside the above parameters has the legal right to pursue those systems.

Our focus is doing our inner work clearing our roots, together with embodying our teachings, walking our talk, doing our shadow work, calling and supporting each other with feedback and loving each other. For me, i feel deep trust in who we are, what we are transmitting and grateful we have listened and evolved over the years to address much of what is coming out in the collective field..and what we are still listening to and evolving day by day.

Re Trauma: Earlier this year we added this to our event descriptions. "This is an individual process that happens in a group environment and a level of ability to be self responsible is needed to navigate the spiritual sexual shamanic space. ISTA is a mystery school and approaches trauma from the shamanic perspective of connecting with the body and soul. We recommend that if there is known deep seated trauma, individuals seek one on one sessions and get the ok from their therapist before entering the group process."

In love ISTA Gov
